Why we started
Berlin is wonderful for almost everything — except, it seems, meeting someone who wants the same things you do. Endless apps, plans that dissolve on Thursday, and conversations that never leave the chat window.
We started AbsoluteMatch because we believe the old way still works best: someone who knows you, knows the other person, and thinks you'd get along. We just bring a bit more care and a lot more organisation to it.
How we're different
We don't run a dating app and we never will. There are no public profiles to browse. Instead, we build a trusted circle of Berlin singles we've personally met, and we make introductions one at a time.
We meet everyone
No one is introduced to you who we haven't spoken to personally. That's the whole point.
Consent at every step
Both people say yes before an introduction happens. Your details never go anywhere you haven't agreed to.
